Lightroom also has a relatively steep learning curve, and whilst it can certainly do a lot, it is missing some important features like layer support. It also requires a powerful computer, and even then Lightroom performance can be a challenge. VJPEG replaces Windows default image viewer with a dead simple app that displays pictures right on the desktop and lets you drag and resize them with the mouse.We’re big fans of Adobe Lightroom for our photo editing and photo management tasks, and it’s definitely one of our favourite photo editing applications. Other extra options, like being able to minimize or tile images, would be nice too. I miss having some kind of documentation though, as well as having a nicer icon for my graphic files, which lose their standard icon as soon as they're associated with VJPEG. VJPEG is a good solution for those who want just a simple photo viewer without all the bells and whistles of other programs. If you want to resize them (just for viewing purposes, no actual size changes are applied) stick the image to the left screen edge and drag it.
